Edd Painting at Yellowstone Art Museum in March

969924_145846705620863_510737365_nEdd was unable to make it to the March 1, 2014 Yellowstone Art Museum’s 46th Annual Art Auction in Billings due to weather. However, his painting Cottonwood #193 was in the auction and went for considerably over the minimum bid. This auction and gala event is the largest auction of contemporary art in Montana featuring catering by Tom Nelson, music by jazz favorites Parker Brown and Alex Nauman, and fine art available from over 160 regional artists. Did you know Edd Enders Painting serves on the Board of The Danforth PCFA? 2014 is the 40th year the Danforth Park County Friends of the Arts have been bringing top notch emerging and under represented artists to the public. This lecture series is FREE but donations are needed to cover costs. 2014’s first lecture will be by photographer Joanne Berghold was inspiring and the next week (March 11th, 6:30pm) will be: Dr. Jim Halfpenny- a master explorer, author, scientist and educator, Halfpenny will share his expertise on cold ecosystems, animal tracking, and carnivores. The rest of this series includes:

WEEK 3 (March 18th, 6:30pm): Ian Kellett- a science and natural history filmmaker, Kellett will speak about his recent expedition to Papua New Guinea aboard the oceanographic research vessel the Alucia.

WEEK 4 (March 25th, 6:30pm): Bill Payne- the Lecture Series concludes with iconic piano rock musician and photographer Bill Payne. A founding member of the rock group Little Feat, Payne will discuss the creative process and his crafts.
